It is exactly three months to the day that “live” meetings of the Gaslighter and

Wakeylele groups were suspended because of the covid 19 situation.

 

Thanks, however, to the resolute stewardship of Dave Burgess, both groups have

managed to stay in contact and practise via the zoom medium.

 

Clearly whilst being no substitute for the “real thing”, zoom has enabled us to

maintain both our ethos and identity through the regular weekly sessions.

 

Now, with the gradual relaxation of the covid restrictions, we are looking

Forward to the time when we can re-congregate and return to our normal

pattern of meetings.

 

May I take this opportunity to thank all the “zooming stalwarts” who have

participated so regularly throughout these trying times.

 

Hopefully, those members who have been “away” for a while will want to return,

once it is safe to do so. You will be more than welcome!
